Eric J. Beaver is an Attorney in Rensselaer, Indiana and has been engaged in the practice of law since 2005. Mr. Beaver has provided legal services to residents of Jasper County and surrounding counties since 2010. After graduating from DePaul University College of Law in Chicago, Illinois, Mr. Beaver served as a law clerk for Hon. Michael S. Kanne, Circuit Judge of the United State Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit in Chicago. Upon completion of his judicial clerkship, Mr. Beaver joined the Office of the Indiana Attorney General as a Deputy Attorney General where he practiced for four years in the Civil Rights and Employment Litigation Section. Serving under two Indiana Attorney Generals, Steve Carter and Greg Zoeller, as a Deputy Attorney General, Mr. Beaver was awarded the Certificate of Excellence in Public Service by Attorney General Zoeller in 2009. In 2010, Mr. Beaver left the Office of the Attorney General to practice law with his father, James R. Beaver, at which time the law firm of Halleck & Beaver P.C. was renamed Beaver & Beaver P.C.
Mr. Beaver's practice areas include personal injury, wrongful death, business formation, probate and estates, real estate, civil litigation, wills, trusts, and other estate planning tools, divorce and criminal law. Mr. Beaver also serves as the Jasper County Attorney and is the attorney for the Jasper County Tourism Commission.
